点评：We were offered a free shuttle bus to Front Street St Maarten's from Simpsons Bary Resort and Marina. I had thought it was simply free transport to the jewellery and liquor area that everyone happens on dur9ng a cruise stop.
Oh no, it wasn't. Nothing in life is free. We got on the bus and for the 20 minute journey were repeatedly regaled with a sales pitch detsiling someone's life story and how they loved jewellery and her family shop. By 3rd retelling I was beyond bored. On disembarking we were informed that her cousin was'seeing up the rear' ensuring we didnt escape before we were coraled into said shop. They did give you a free drink though.
We escaped as soon as possible and visitied the other shops too. We did not partake of the offer to return us to our resort which would have been at 1pm - a 3 hour round trip.
I won't put myself through that again preferring to pay the taxi fare.
