点评：I have visited several times before and have always enjoyed their platters. We had booked Afternoon Tea as a neighbour's 70th birthday treat. It was booked for 2.30pm. We arrived promptly and were seated and immediately asked if we would like our glass of sparkling wine first. It was then after 3pm when I has to go to the desk and say we were still waiting for our tea. That then arrived. The sandwiches were tasty, but had obviously been sitting out for a while - not dry enough to send them back, but noticeable. The scones were good, with generous amounts of cream and jam. The cakes were disappointing - all variations on sponge. Lemon drizzle, walnut and coffee, carrot cake and Victoria sponge. No nice little pastries you get in some places. Nobody came to ask if everything was alright and we had to request more tea. We were there for over three hours chatting; the place was very busy (that was probably part of the problem, but it shouldn't have been ours!) and a nice atmosphere but I certainly would not recommend the afternoon tea.
