The trail we followed is one of the easiest and most scenic.
From the Pordòi Pass, we took trail no. 601 to the Canazei cable car station.
The actual trail begins here, known as "Viel del Pan" for its former trade routes.
Once you reach the top of Col dei Rossi, the actual Vial del Pan begins, which will lead right to Lake Fedaia, at the foot of the Marmolada.
The last last part of the trail can also be done on foot for the more adventurous.
The Vial del Pan is a panoramic route that allows you to reach Lake Fedaia while still enjoying breathtaking views along the way.
Lake Fedaia is also easily accessible by public transport or car, which will take you directly in front of the imposing dam and the lake itself.
