Island Fish Fry的点评
点评：Great experience. First time on the island. We stayed at Neptune Villas, which was strategically located on the sound as well as the ocean. It was beautiful. Our villa included a private pool and was just a short walk from the ocean, sound and restaurants. The resort provided kayaks and row boats to explore the sound. We took a boat tour of the sound and saw turtles, iguana and lots of fish.
If you are on the island on a Thursday night, you MUST go to the Island Fish Fry. It is a wonderful place to mix with locals, enjoy the local cuisine and crafts. You will learn about the island's history while sampling all of the traditional foods of the locals. You should not miss it.
We recommend Grace Bay Car Rental, if you need a car while you are there. They personally greet you as you come out of baggage claim, walk you to your rental, help you get everything situated and wave you on your way. When you return, they meet you at departures entrance, help you unload your bags and take the car from there. It was so simple and easy.
You should also have a couple of meals at Las Brisas Restaurant at Neptune Villas. The restaurant has an extensive menu. The chefs who who are creating the dishes are from the countries that originated the cuisine so the food is very authentic. That authenticity also includes a very nice sushi menu.
