点评:A cool & cloudy Sunday morning took us to Falling Foss. The car park was not too full when we arrived, but overflowing when we parted. It was also free of charge.
There was a steep descent from the car park to the cafe via a muddy, poorly surfaced road which led to a sweet little bridge which had its own troll to protect it. We had not long had full breakfast so had no requirement for the cafe, which was open an attracting other visitors. We headed for the waterfall and I could hardly believe my eyes as I saw both young lady and a gentleman in swimming attire splashing and swimming in the pool below the falls. My wife must have recognised the lady as she said, “Gosh, that’s Mai Zing”.
We then took the wooden walkway along the little stream in the wooded ravine for a hundred metres before returning via the steep hill to my car. We loved the exercise and lovely walk, though others might find the steep, rough road a challenge.
