点评：Well, where might I begin? We made our appointment with other friends to come and tour the farm. Understandably it is hard to really begin on time, when waiting for an other group to check in and get assembled., 10 minutes late. That being said, both groups were set for the tours and the staff were not prepared to begin. We finally did get to begin, 20 minutes late. Needless to say, the natives were a bit restless. Our first stop was the bottle filling station. The tour guide began his talk, with “well, I get the boring job. No one wants to hear me and what I have to say.” Well, I don’t now. On to the barn, this was the highlight of the tour! The tour guide for this chapter was exuberant, cordial and very inviting to help us learn. On to the front porch for some sips of tasty milk. That was the only thing tasty…the ladies here seemed to be ready for a nap. No expressions, no fun at all. The tour was 1 1/2 hours. That time was spent mostly waiting to move to the next station. So glad to end it all with some samples and we did purchase a scoop of delicious ice cream.
I would suggest that the 3 guides would maybe take a slug of the coffee milk and maybe they could learn to enjoy what they are doing.
I grew up on a farm. The farm got a bad rap today. I also was a teacher. I don’t think these children learned a thing except how to push to get a curd. But, that’s on the parents.
