Rude marshall at Mystic golf club.

点评：On the 8th tee, asked the marshall to speak with the group in front of us because they were 2 holes behind, and to either let us through or speed up play. His answer: "you should see the back 9, everybody is 1 hole behind." What a nonsensical answer!! Instead of going to speak with the group in front, he continues towards the 7th. Spoke with the starter after 9. He contacts the pro shop and while we're waiting on the 10th tee for the group in front (looking for balls in the ravine), a new marshall comes to speak with us. After explaining, he asks how long it took to play the front ( 2.5 hours), says he would check how far behind they were and speak to them about picking up the pace and report back to us. True to his word, he comes back after we had teed off and reports that the group would let us through if they held us up if after their attempt to pick up the pace failed. Fortunately their pace improved enough to complete the back 9 in 2 hours 5 minutes.
