Drakensberg Ballooning的点评
点评：Man what an experience from start to finish.
The day starts pre-dawn at the lakeside picturesque property, a camp-side fire crackling as you can drink coffee/hot chocolate while the balloon starts warming up.
William settles us in, before Nick launches us skyward. It defies words to see the texture of the landscape give way to the roaring Drakensberg canopy, no where else can you see the shape of this ancient geological formation from its southern origins to its distant northern reaches. In contrast below, Reedbuck run through the plains.
The wind wasn't working for us and rather than settling in the road, we had to make other plans. Nick was our source of confidence, knowledge and inspiration. Eventually we landed in a freshly harvested maize field, following this was celebratory champagne right by the field of victory.
From there we convalesced back to the farmstead and gathered to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
