Farleys House & Gallery的点评
点评：After reading the Sunday Times article on Lee Miller and then watching the film I was very interested to visit Farley. It was excellent. You do need to book a tour to get the most out of the visit which then gives you access to the gardens and galleries as well as the house.
The galleries are laid out in an interesting way and I was really fascinated with it all. The house is a reasonably large family home but not massive yet it’s room still give the impression that Lee is not far away. In a positive sense.
To be told that Picasso and others visited the home and sat on the chairs etc, was fabulous.
A nice cafe and additional gallery are in the out barn and I just want to thank Emily are knowledgable and helpful guide. You brought the place a live!!
The gardens are well maintained and house a range of outdoor sculptures which also add to the experience. We spent just over three hours at Farley’s including a light lunch, house tour, galleries and garden walk. You could spend more time too.
