Big Bear Rafting的点评
点评：We have never been whitewater rafting before and we had the most perfect time with Big Bear Rafting! They were fun, hilarious, and knowledgeable. They made great, entertaining guides and made the rafting seem easy. We arrived at Big Bear in Hartford, TN (exactly an hour from Pigeon Forge) 30 minutes before our start time to check in and then waited for the guides. We were assigned Rawley. You have to leave all of your belongings in your car and they hold your keys for you. If you want to take your phone I recommend getting a waterproof phone lanyard to take with you. We didn't do this so the only pictures we got were the professional ones offered ($34.95 for 16 good quality photos on a thumb drive).
The rapids were not scary at all and there was actually a lot of peaceful down time between them to enjoy the view and the water. Even the temperature was much nicer here and not as hot as we had been experiencing. Because it was the first trip of the day the river was being filled at the same time as the rafting trip, so there were moments that you had to pull over so the water could fill and wouldn't be too shallow. Knowing this now, I'd be interested to see what the rafting trip is like later in the day after the river is full.

On the way back to Pigeon Forge we were directed by the GPS through the Foothills Parkway and we caught some beautiful views there.
