We visited the farm on September 26th, 2025. Due to the rain, we chose not to pick apples ourselves and instead purchased pre-packed "20-pound" bags. Unfortunately, the bags were significantly underweight—only about 8 pounds each. The staff member at the counter, though polite, was inexperienced and insisted they were 20-pound bags. As we were in a hurry, we took her word for it.
Later at home, we weighed the bags and confirmed the shortfall. We also learned that the farm typically does not fill bags to the top to avoid spillage, and the staff are supposed to top them up at the point of sale—something that didn’t happen in our case.
I wrote to the farm, and to my pleasant surprise, I received a prompt and courteous response with a sincere apology. A digital refund was issued within hours.
Very honorable and professional people—I truly appreciate their integrity and customer service.
