点评：Wonderful experience and important Serbian landmark. A must visit on your Serbian roadtrip.
I stayed in a quaint town of Matarushka Banja, about 20 minutes drive. To get to the fortress, you must first get to the Ibar River crossing that is ran by a volunteer organization. You can drive the car down the off path that leads to the crossing and park it on the dirt/grass.
There are regular free crossings in the two hour intervals starting from 8 am and going until 6 PM. Other times, the crossing is 300 dinars. There is a poster schedule and a phone number to call. The service runs EVERYDAY.
The hike to the fortress is easy along the newly paved path. As you climb the fortress, you will be met with breathtaking mountains. The sound of flowing Ibar is soothing.
The fortress is fairly small. It looks giant in the photos, but you will probably need about an hour to explore/climb/take photos. Parts of fortress are currently being renovated.
In the off season, the place is fairly quiet. But in the summer the volunteer organization runs camping and events.
