点评：A must visit for anyone in the area, and at £13, a reasonable price. The volunteer staff are charming, friendly and knowledgeable, they want to talk and share. Nice little drinks area and shaded tables. Hyper clean portaloos, small but free car park.
Now to the stars, 5000 plus exhibits. You are invited to sit in cockpits of some, and inside the c47 used in a major motion film, as well as it's wartime service. In the current heat, 90 minutes was a leisurely walk around, then a sit down for coffee and cool drinks.
Dont forget to visit the radio shack, where they will let you listen to radios from during and after ww2.
The staff are super friendly.
I now know the ww2 suitcase radios, used by the agents weighed 30 kgs, how they carried them is beyond me
Also just how small the cockpit is on a fighter plane, and the bare metal seat as the pilot sat on his parachute.
Perfect.
