Glastonbudget: NO CAMPING FOR DAY TICKETS festival goers.

点评：We have been to Glastonbudget Festival for the last three years, and we've always enjoyed it. Great bands, vibe, and location (weather not so!).
We'd purchased day tickets everytime as we weren't able to go on the weekdays. We also added on camping for one night at an extra £15 approx which was ideal for us.
This year, it being the 20th Anniversary of the festival, we wanted to book day tickets for Saturday & Sunday, and add camping for both nights. Sadly, the options for buying day tickets and adding camping seems to be absent this time.
I took the liberty of emailing the organisers to find out why this was the case, and they responded saying that the option of camping with day tickets is no longer available!!? Their reasoning for this is they wanted people to buy the weekend tickets so we get the full experience of the festival, and for a price of £160 Inc Camping etc.
The price isn't really the issue and is quite good for the whole event, but we couldn't go on the Thursday & Friday because of work, so we would be paying extra and missing out on two days.
So, it would seem that day ticket festival goers are being treated unfairly by the organisers, and as a result, we won't be going this year, and infact, not ever again if this is the way they want to do things from now on.
Sad, as I've recommended this festival to many people, but not anymore. Sorry.
