Whisby Garden Centre的点评
点评：Really looked forward to visiting an independent garden centre but spirits sank very quickly.
The whole place looks really shabby and in need of some TLC.
It had been a windy night but this was early afternoon and there was all kinds of debris and plants all over the place.
The displays in the garden centre were really poor. Lillie's with dead leaves and other plants crying out for attention. Arrangements were not pleasant on the eye.
Prices were not as cheap as other places which I found very surprising considering the mess a lot of them were In.
Went to the cafe which was in what could have been a lovely setting by the lake but there too there were palm trees set out in pots, but they were basically dead. Weeds were everywhere which was really unacceptable.
I had a piece of cake which had to be returned because it wasn't just dry it was actually stale. If this had been my place the cake would have been taken off sale immediately but when we left 30 minutes later it was still on sale!
Would be an idea for management to take a good hard look at this place and pull it up to scratch.
With Pennels just down the road and the lovely Cherry garden centre not too far away I would give this place a miss
