One can't ever just visit this bookstore once!
Bearly Used Books的点评
点评：If there's a place that one must visit time and time again, it is Bearly Used Books in Parry Sound.
Parry Sound, this small town on the eastern shore of Georgian Bay, is very fortunate to have Bearly Used Books at 15 James Street, just minutes of a short walk from the waterfront.
Certainly, in tourist country -- as Parry Sound is -- Bearly Used Books would come out as the number one thing to do on a rainy day. But this interesting shop is simply excellent to visit on any day.
A bit like some of those advertised potato chip products, one simply can have one! Meaning one visit!
We were there just a few weeks ago, pouring over overcrowded bookshelves which add to the place. Inches away, staff members were working on absorbing new contriutions, or new purchases (they give you credits for books you bring in) and at any time that one required it as staff member's help was at hand.
It appeared to me that there might have been five, or six, perhaps ten staff members. In a way, that make Bearly Used Books a little industry in its own right based on employing people!
We found our books in the nautical section where there live a variety of books about marine history, sailing motorboating and lots else! A friendly clerk checked us out.
We had visited Bearly Used Books a year ago. When we return to visit Parry Sound again, Bearly Used Books will be at the top of our list of must-visit stores.... rain, or shine!
