点评：Worth arriving early, we arrived 90 minutes prior to first race and were behind 6-7 lines of people by the fence at the bottom of the hill, maybe get there 2-3 hours early. Parked on Green street in Brockworth, plenty of free spaces and followed the crowd up the steep hill on Green street, takes about 20-30 minutes to get to Coopers Hill. You can pay for parking closer but the main road is shut for the event. There are a few food and drink stalls near the bottom of the hill. Races take place every 30 minutes with 3 men’s and 1 woman’s race downhill alternating with childrens and an adult’s uphill race. Worth getting to see as it is a truly world event with racers and visitors from all countries and a good sense of humour pervades the event. Thankfully no injuries at this year’s races, but the steepness of the course has to be seen to be believed.
