One Of My Favourite Venues
Esquires, Bedford的点评
点评：Esquires is a small venue on the edge of Bedford Town Centre and has played host to many bands over the years. Recently I have been visiting it more and more and trying to go there rather than heading into London.
The venue has got street parking near it however I would suggest parking in Greyfriars car park which is a couple of minutes walk away and also close to the bus station. The parking in this car park is free after 6pm so fits in perfectly if you are going to a gig.
Bedford Midland railway station is about 15 minutes walk away if you are coming by train. Walk down Midland Road and turn left when you come to the junction with Greyfriars. Keep on this road and you will see the venue on your right hand side after you have gone past the car park and the blocks of flats. There is a small parade of shops next to the venue.
They have gigs downstairs and the main gigs are upstairs. There is a staircase to get upstairs, I am not sure if there is a lift or other accommodation for people with mobility challenges.
There is a bar and also a merch stand and the stage is quite small so it is quite intimate.
The staff are always really friendly and it's a great place to go and see your favourite band.
