Spectacular scenic drive with red rocks mesas and a Dinosaur Tracksite near the beginning

This spectacular, seemingly hidden, drive turns off to the south from Route 14 (large sign) about 8 miles east of Greybull. The road is unpaved and the sign warns you not to proceed if it has rained heavily recently or if such rain is forecast (this mud is sticky!). The road was in good condition when we were there. We drove a mid-size SUV, but a regular sedan with some clearance might be OK.
About 5 miles in, it’s worth checking out the Dinosaur Tracksite and (trying to) see the fossil dinosaur footprints in the ripple rocks from the shoreline of a former sea (“one of only a few such sites worldwide from the Middle Jurassic Period [160 million to 180 million years old]).” There are restrooms and picnic tables.
Further along the Byway we saw many colorful hills in reds, tans, greys, even black; some hills were oddly shaped. We also came upon a couple of pronghorn antelopes. After 20 miles, the Red Gulch Road comes to an unmarked intersection: if you want to go south to tiny Hyattville, you should take a right. If you mistakenly continue straight/left, as we did, you will soon see a sign facing in the opposite direction saying 15 miles to Hyattsville, so just turn around.
From Hyattville you can either reverse your trip, or go west to Manderson on paved RT31, or go south to Ten Sleep on unpaved RT49 (avoiding BLM1117), which becomes the Tensleep Hyattville Road RT54.
