点评:Never been here before now and I’ll start by saying we will be back. It was very busy the day we decided to visit so we parked our car on the roadside along with many others, the main car park is a paid car park part of National Trust. We entered the park and there are easy to read maps so that you can get your bearings and decide which one of the routes you are going to tackle, Purple, Blue etc. some are longer and more challenging than others so the choice is yours. We had our furry friends with us which was great for them, the only small issue is the lack of bins for well you know…. Oh well a few bags of logs to carry on the journey then, for all you responsible dog owners out there you’ll know what I mean. We decided Purple was the route for us … two hours twenty minutes later we arrived back at the start point having negotiated in parts scenes from Jurassic Park, lovely open spaces, terrific views of the area oh and wild cattle…. Which came as a bit of a shock. In summary lovely peaceful walk in amazing countryside. Will be back for more..
