Not worth visiting unless you want to see collections of junk that have nothing to do with the history of this place

点评：Whoever curated this museum should reconsider their collection criteria.
What relevance to time and place does gaol cell filled with old irons, typewriters and other junk have to do with the history of this goal.
I visit places like this to be made aware of the history. This particular gaol has a very dark story to tell from when it was used as a prison for young women.. tell visitors those stories.
There is so much more that could have been done to make this museum historically valuable.
I felt more emotional visiting the women's factory in Hobart and there is nothing there but the foundations and the stories of the women and children incarcerated there.
These displays in Hay Gaol hold nothing of value and should be removed. It just looks like a storage facility for someone's unwanted stuff that they found in granddad's garage.
