A one month spectacular but not the month we visited.

点评：In May this place must be amazing! In June it’s all over.
A simple trail walkway takes you around the azaleas but are just a woodland walkway near a reservoir when we went and we could only imagine the beauty.
The reservoir is an expanse of water with laces which look beach like but little signage.
In fact we could only see signs saying what we couldn’t do and workmen who are clearing some areas in the summer months.
The other side if the dam is an area with children’s play and bbq/picnic table area. The geese had made a mess on the grass and were walking around as if they owned the place and maybe they do.
The need for blanket is evident.
We used this as a scouting trip for our friends who live 10 mins away and who will likely use it as the weekends come and go till it’s too cold to sit and enjoy.
The visitor centre did not offer us much but for a workman in hi via and hard hat on the w phone and not interested in us at Al!
We will keep in rich with our friends and their use of this place and perhaps add an addendum to rid review!
