Lovely weekend in Tanna

点评：I had such a wonderful weekend in Tanna thanks to Unity Airlines. What an amazing place!
I was a solo traveller, but emailed the company to see when they could fit me on a flight and was lucky enough to get one the week after I asked.
Both flights were so smooth (I haven't ever been in an aircraft that small before so I was a bit nervous) but I realised after the first flight I had no reason to be.
The resort (Tanna Evergreen) was also excellent, the food was lovely and the staff were so nice. A lot of the food options weren't available but is as expected on a place like Tanna. The coffee machine was broken, but they did have some filtered Tanna coffee available which was excellent.
I really enjoyed the Banyan tour that we were able to do before the Volcano tour. As we went on a Saturday many of the tours weren't available such as the Blue Cave & Blackman Market tour. Some were possible but you have to give earlier notice (the cultural tours visiting local villages etc.) So if you book the Evergreen option make sure you call ahead to see what is possible.
Our driver Roger was really good. I felt extremely safe on the entire ( sometimes bumpy) drive to the volcano and back. He also allowed time for stops at various places along the way which was so kind of him.
The Volcano was smoky when we arrived due to the rain so visibility of the inside was not really possible, but we did manage to see some of the activity and hear the roar of the volcano. As the guide said, you cant control the weather.
I would recommend your service to anyone who is looking to see the Volcano.

我们到达时，火山因下雨而烟雾弥漫，所以内部不太清晰，但我们确实看到了一些活动，听到了火山的轰鸣声。正如导游所说，天气是无法控制的。
