点评:I went here with a group of 13 folks. We had arranged a tour. I think it is free to enter but we did pay $5 per person for the tour. The museum has more than on location. The web page lists the sites and displays at each.
The museum has some Intractive displays including video and audio as well as artifacts.
There are exhibits related to industrial Syracuse, the indigenous inhabitants before Syracuse was chartered, and the cities place in slavery, abolition, and women's suffrage.
Displays are laid out in an orderly way and easy to understand. The displays are attractive.
There are public restrooms and a well-stocked gift shop. There were many books on a variety of local and national topics. There were several art items for sale.
The tour was very interesting and I'm glad I had the opportunity to hear as well as see some of the history of Syracuse.
Be sure to allow enough time to appreciate all they have to share.
Parking is on the street with metered spots. There are kiosks for paying the parking fee.
