I tried 8 different baked goods at The Little Tart!
The Little Tart的点评
点评：Very nice tarts, Nanaimo bars and coconut macaroons. The butter tarts are a different style than most. The crust is exceptionally delicate, almost more like a crumbly shortbread cookie. I tried the pecan tart, butter tart, booty call ( salt caramel and chocolate), strawberry rhubarb tart, lemon tart and chocolate tart, as well as Nanaimo bar and macaroons. Everything was good. This place is open only Fri to Sun during the summer. People line up by 9:45 am, and the baked goods are often sold out by noon. The Little Tart posts on Twitter when they have sold out.
I have tried a lot of butter tarts, and while this is a good tart, I prefer the other tarts sold at The Little Tart.
I guess I like a sturdier and flakier crust for butter tarts. Circle and Squares or BaNoi are more my cup of tea. It's just a matter of taste, though.
The owners are very nice. I'll be back.
I really loves the strawberry rhubarb tart, and booty call tart. Nice version of a macaroon.
