Worth a stay, even when pan is dry
Rocherpan Nature Reserve的点评
点评：We stayed in cabin for 2 people (Oystercatcher) and loved it. Light and airy, good facilities (we liked the long drop dry lavatory, just throw in a shovel or two when you’ve used it), comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Has a braai and outside seating.
Sadly, the pan was completely dry so no waders but we followed the trails and found much to see and many birds to spot. The walk to the beach gave us stunning views of the completely deserted beach and dunes. Quite remarkable.
We must commend the staff, the young lady (sorry, we didn’t have her name) who welcomed us on arrival and enthusiastically explained everything we needed to know to make our stay a success, and Everton who was on duty when we left and took a genuine interest in what we’d seen and done and invited feedback on any improvements we could suggest. The enthusiasm of both of them was evident, for Rocherpan and for the project in hand to make it a successful resource for visitors and the local community alike.
