Gorgeous park, especially with fall colors | excellent camping

点评：Camped there October 2025. Gorgeous park! Stayed at campsite 50 - nice location on the water and a spacious site. The fall colors were coming out so every day was incredibly beautiful (even the days it rained).
For the campgrounds - there is one bathroom with flush toilets and showers (in the electric campsite area). It was very clean, and the showers had hot water that lasted for the duration of the shower. They also had regular shower faucet handles vs. the push buttons you so often find in Wisconsin State Park Shower facilities, so that was an extra bonus. The shower building closed for the season Oct 13. Pit toilets are still available after that. Firewood was sold by the camp host for $5.00/bundle (located by the shower building). Camping during the weekdays was extra nice because very few people were at the park so it was very peaceful. Nice hiking trails throughout the park. Sunsets were also very pretty every night, and we watched them from the beach area. Highly recommend this park for camping and day trips!
