点评：We all know that the sports centre is horrendously uncared for but now and then I get sucked into visiting again with the hope of change. We visited on a Saturday, the hope that the new cafe gives diminished as it was shut with not a single member of staff trained to serve. Three members of staff on the desk and not a single greeted with a smile, they needed to finishing gossiping before speaking to us. The softplay was absolutely filthy, with stains all over the floor, food and debris. The pool was closed AGAIN due to boiler issues - a regular occurrence. I thought I’d grab a coffee from the machine instead… until I saw the condition of it. Absolutely filthy with spilt drinks upon spilt drinks upon spilt drinks which had gone solid over what I can only imagine to be weeks.
It’s a huge shame but the staff just simply do not care about the place, hence the very high staff turnover. Even if underfunded, with staff who love and care for the place it could be completely different. You’re being paid to work here so do the job and care for it, don’t sit at the desk clock watching and being rude and negligent.
