点评：We last sailed with Serenity on their wonderful sunset cruise. This time it was the two hour (non landing) Puffin Cruise on one of their superb double decker catamarans. The crew were, yet again, top class. From the lady who led us down from the ticket 'hut' to the boarding steps to those on board who came around offering excellent information and tips as we sailed along. The Puffins are the stars of the show due to their photogenic looks. But there is so much more to see and enjoy, including Guillemots, Terns and Grey Seals. Along with Longstone Lighthouse and the story of Grace Darling, for those who don't know it. It's an ever changing scene. On the date of our trip (May 22) the Puffins were very active, speeding over the waves. As a photographer they were almost as challenging to capture in flight as Swifts. But also posing nicely on cliff tops. With thanks again to crew members who pointed out things I might have missed. There was an audible intake of breath on board at the first sight of a huge cliff face filled with sea birds. It felt like we had been transported to another planet. With the two hours flying by...much like the Puffins. From online booking to return to dry land, the Serenity experience was really excellent. The ticket price may seem a lot but it really is worth every single penny. You can see just a few of my shots in these montages taken with a professional camera with a long lens. But you don't need a camera to enjoy this tour. Just your own eyes and ears. Amazing.
