Small and expensive.
丹麦国家水族馆的点评
点评：The outside of the building had a very nice design. Inside it was clean.
There are 3 exhibition sections, an outside area with a nice view and a playground for kids, and a cafeteria.
There are some cool designs inside, such as a big theater sized aquarium, and some interesting species of fish I haven't seen before.
However, the main problem with Den Blå Planet is that it's quite small and some of it feels like I've seen it elsewhere at a zoo.
You could spend about 2 hours with family going through the aquarium; and small kids can spend another 1-2 hours at the playground outside.
I did not eat at the cafeteria, but I did buy some waffle & Ice-cream. I thought the price for the food was 50% higher than I felt was reasonable. And the price at the gift shop... yikes. In today's world, even everyday prices seem unreason, and then there's the Den Blå Planet surcharge.
I won't return. And there's definitely no reason to travel to Sjælland just to see this... unless you are really passionate about fish.
