点评：Thank you Shadows of Africa TEAM for organizing a memorable trip for us. An amazing time in Tanzania with a fun, successful six-day Kilimanjaro climb up the Marangu Route led by August (a local GOAT on Kilimanjaro – highly respected by his peers and fellow climbers with nearly 200 successful summits), assisted by GOAT in training Godfrey, and a wonderful team of cooks and porters. Following our climb we enjoyed a fantastic safari through Tarangire National Park, the Eastern Serengeti and then followed by an extensive tour through the Ngorongoro Crater Area led by the one and only Moody (aka Bob Junior) – a guide whose network, communication and knowledge of the flora and fauna was unmatched – not to mention the gourmet lunch meals presented with a tablecloth and wine during lunch stops – waaaay over the top. We saw more animals, birds, and scenery from the best vantage points than we ever imagined. Next, our trip led us through Rwanda and natural areas that included guided hiking trips with unique opportunities to spend time with Chimpanzees, Golden Monkeys, and an unbelievable opportunity to observe Gorillas in their natural habitat. As we traveled between destinations we were met with open arms by caring staff at each property SoA arranged for lodging. Food, drinks, and accommodations were all outstanding: safe and well-presented. Staff at each property made us feel like we were their best customers. During our trip we were asked at least six-times by fellow-travelers which tour company was making all the great things happen for us – leading us to recommended Shadows of Africa based on our experience with a high level of service, sights, and experiences. We look forward to our next adventure with SoA. Thank you again TEAM.
