Amazing experience with a fantastic guide

点评：It’s hard to figure out where to start, but our guide, Zamoo, was incredible. He was very thoughtful and gave us all the information we needed. The sights and animals were amazing and we were able to see everything we hoped to see. His knowledge of all the animals was great, especially his ability to spot them and quickly identify all of the birds which he could then show us with his guide. It was impressive and enhanced our trip significantly by providing background information at each point. Within 4 hours of entering the Serengeti, we saw 4/5 Big 5, including cheetah and lion cubs. We also saw parts of the Great Migration with the zebras and wildebeests headed north, which was incredible.
The food was a pleasant surprise as well. Not knowing what to expect, we fell in love with the cuisine - all the soups, rice, desserts, and anything else you could imagine. Most of our meals during safari were hot meals, not just boxes. The lodges were all amazing and the staffs there made the trip special as well. When a plumbing issue arose, we were upgraded to a luxury camp which was stunning.
From the start, Karen was fantastic to work with. She was very helpful and super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed at each point in the planning process as well as during the trip.
We would highly recommend anyone to use Shadows and we hope to return someday soon!
