Very rude,argumentative,no tact cashier ,double charged

点评：Wife and I had played Gaylord Golf Club earlier in the day which was established in 1924 also celebrating their 100th anniversary and have enjoyed a couple Donald Ross courses so on our way back home we tacked on 9 holes at this scenic historic gem. The view of Elk Lake on half the holes alone is worth the $25( gas powered cart $13) fees. Having played Arcadia and Manistee golf and country club on Lake Michigan it was a neat small green, pot bunkered Ross design. Being it was a gorgeous Thursday late afternoon the course was packed and at two and a half hours we still enjoyed the views and scored well. Everything about the course itself, the Yamaha gas carts, the bag check young lady, the starter/ ranger was great but ONE person can ruin our one and done visit to this course.
We had booked our tee time on their website an hour and a half before the first available. I can handle rude guys no problem but when my wife gets treated rudely and gets into an argument with a female cashier over being told a half dozen times “it’s pending “ and told I can’t purchase a bottled Bloody Mary from the cooler because I wasn’t a member I left the room and let the wife pay a second time and headed to the cart and chatted with the starter who was a gentleman.
Wife had to call bank and the manager of the course the next day to get things straightened out.
Unfortunately it left a bad taste afterwards talking about Mimi and miss piggy, just absolutely no people skills.
BUT THE LAKE VIEWS ARE WORTH it! Would have been five star if cashier was normal
