Cafe food is a disgrace
Wyre Forest的点评
点评：The Wyre Forest is extensive & makes for a fabulous day out. You can very quickly get away from the less energetic types as they don’t tend to venture much beyond the cafe.
I love it on my bike & go for miles criss-crossing the myriad of paths & tracks with my dog.
HOWEVER, the cafe is one enormous letdown.
I would also add that I never park in the public car park parking now that it’s got surveillance cameras.
Back to the cafe. Having walked through the forest from Dry Mill Lane on a snowy, icy wintry day, we made towards the cafe for a spot of lunch. Tempted by the ‘World’s Best Burger’ all I can say is I’m not sure which world. Maybe they don’t get out much - but this burger was dreadful. Cheap meat which lingers as something nasty on my palette for hours after.
& let me tell you, it was not cheap in price !
They need to change their supplier. The cafe could be an enormous money spinner as a destination on its own right given the right management, staff & quality food.
Best stick to the tea (generous sized teapot & decent tea) & a tea cake.
