Seeing the animals was nice, avoid the vegan Cafè. Prepackaged food and not much selection.

点评：We came here primarily for lunch as it had a cafe which we remembered fondly from our last visit some time ago.
Turns out the place has been taken over by some sort of PETA type group.
The cafe is now totally vegan, and when we ordered hot drinks the (less than polite) lady behind the desk didn’t mention she was using oat milk to my Gluten Free friend. Luckily we caught her just in time.
I know I’ll get the standard reply from the owners, but maybe dial it back a bit? Go vegetarian instead? Some well sourced ethical milk and cheese isn’t going to hurt!
The rest of the visit was nice enough, don’t read the info boards about the animals if you don’t have a strong constitution, and probably best to keep the little ones away from them, yes they give info but also go into quite unnecessary details.
It’s a shame really, could have been quite nice, but the aggressively over the top elements meant it wasn’t as nice as we’d hoped.
