Amazing South African Honeymoon Experience (Cape Town and Winelands)

点评：My wife and I began our honeymoon in Cape Town and Franschhoek in October before heading east for our safari. In Cape Town, we were very lucky to be paired with Russell as our driver and guide. He took us on our Cape Peninsula tour, a City Tour/Table Mountain day, and drove us from Cape Town to and around the Winelands. Our time with Russell was undoubtedly a highlight of our time in South Africa.
Russell was the consummate professional. He was always punctual for pickups/drop offs, and was flexible to help us get the most out of our trip amid changing weather conditions. Russell represented the best of Cape Town’s hospitality and gave us unique insights into the area through his local lens. He helped us understand the city and its history, making us feel safe while maximizing our time and experiences in town. He also made sure we got great photos along the way!
As we reviewed our pre-planned winelands itinerary, Russell helped elevate our plans with an impressive and diverse list of wineries across the spectrum of size and vibe. Some of our favorite stops (La Motte, Jordan, Cavalli) were Russell’s recommendations. His local knowledge combined with the time he spent getting to know us made for an unforgettable experience.
Shaheed was very communicative and helped make sure we were aware of planned meeting times with daily updates to support our itinerary. When one of our private tours unexpectedly became a group tour, Shaheed helped put the cost difference towards covering our wine tastings which was greatly appreciated.
We highly recommend Russell, Shaheed and Escape to the Cape to anyone who wants a memorable time in Cape Town, especially honeymoon couples and American travelers.
