Sataplia Cave and Nature Reserve的点评
点评：We drove up to the Sataplia National Reserve arriving at 10 am. Unfortunately, our tour did not start until 1030. We were provided with a local guide who was doing Georgian language for a group of at least 50 young children and their chaperones and then English for us and another 6-8 people. Most of the time she was with the children. Sataplia means “land rich in honey”.
The first section you go through is the dinosaur track preserved and inside a building. Then you walk through the woods and come to a walkway along the edge of a rock cliff. This is supposed to be where the bees have their nests in the rocks. Then you enter a cave to see stalagmites and stalactites. There is some up and down climbing in the cave area. Then you reenter the woods and can walk to an overlook to see the distant mountains, or you can walk back to the parking lot. Much of this walk was uphill. We stayed here until 1215. The parking lot was jam packed full when we departed.
