点评:This rating is for the park management. There is only one way to visit anything, that's the long windy road thru the park. Really simple. But because of the 2021 fires, many trails are not accessible, which the rangers should know.
First of all, they give you the map and brochures which were valid before the fire with no mention of closed or inaccessible areas..
The not so savvy park ranger at the south entrance visitor center sent us off to a non-existing trail. After spending 15 minutes to see if we are missing the trail, we gave up. The maps in the parking lot were saying go “up”, the paper booklet they gave us says go “down” for the trail… go figure….There are no signs at the parking lots. Even on an existing trail, there is no sign as which way to go, when you come to a fork. You just wing it. It is just a big mess.
Arriving at north entrance, the visitor center has no sacks or water. The lady working there send us to a non-existing “shop” by the lake to buy water. What's wrong with these people working there?
I suggest waiting another 10 years before going to this park, maybe by then they find the right people to get their act together.
The lake areas of the park are absolutely awesome
