点评：Very disappointing visit to the shop on the afternoon of the 19th May. I had a discount code and I approached the lady behind the cash desk on entering the shop to enquire if it was valid as it was my intention to buy 6 gifts (which would have totalled £210 and the 30% discount would have clearly have made a big difference to the cost) The staff member ,who I believe was the manageress, was rude and unhelpful. She said that she hadn’t seen the code before but didn’t suggest trying it to check if it was going to work. Being on a pension a £70 saving is a big deal to me even if it’s small fry to you. Such a shame as it completely spoiled my memories of your shop. I always pop in and buy a few bits when I visit the island. Today’s experience definitely changed my opinion of your business. On the contrary to that very inflexible , unhelpful, rude staff member, may I mention that the other lady working there today was charming and quite the opposite. She asked my husband and I if she could help us. We discussed a few of the fragrances and we told her about the discount dilemma. She was sympathetic but said the other lady was in charge. We left the shop, sat in the car and connected to your website. I popped a couple of things in my basket, applied the code & hey presto 30% discount. So annoying that your staff member could not have done the same thing. Her customer service skills are non existent & she is not friendly in the least. Not sure if she was having a bad day but she is losing you business. We had much more positive experiences in both Driftwood gift shop and the Arran cheese shop where the staff were all lovely and friendly.
