点评:I travelled to Greece with my wife and our granddaughter who we have a special guardianship order issued through the court due to her having autism, PTSD and ADHD knowing the airport would be extremely busy we booked the Aspire lounge through a third party intermediary company to keep her away from the mainstream hustle and hustle of the airport at a cost of over £100. When we arrived we loaded our cases and fast tracked security which we paid extra for but was worth it. We arrived at Aspire lounge only to be told we were double booked and there was no place for us by a rather rude lady, who just kept saying no,no,no. I asked to speak to a manager and so she finally dialled a number and passed me the phone. I then spoke to a rather unhelpful manager called Dean who refused to provide his last name albeit he asked mine and this was provided. After several minutes of getting nowhere I asked Dean to come down and speak to me personally and see the distress this was causing my granddaughter. Deans response was are you stupid? I begged his pardon and he said I'm not coming there, I'm at home!! At no point previous to this had he advised he was at home. I then reiterated that I had booked this room as I have a child with hidden disabilities, Deans response was to question why I had brought a child with disabilities to the airport in the first place which is paramount to disability discrimination. Thank you Manchester Airport and your staffs rather obvious views to disabilities, maybe your staff need retraining with regards to disabilities. Absolutely disgusted!!!
