点评：The fortress is located at the top of the old town centre, and encompasses a range of museums, although the fortress walls in themselves are impressive enough.
The main draw, of course, is the Palace of the Khans, but there is also the town art gallery (5 manat with an exceptional tour in English), a local exhibition (free), craft shops, a shebeke exhibition room in the craft centre, a food museum (1 manat - loved it!), and a photo studio where you can dress in traditional clothes to have a memento taken.
There is one cafe, right in the centre. It is spacious and cool, under trees, with lots of birds. I expected it to be over-priced, in the most touristy location, but actually the menu was very cheap. Possibly because the food is rather flavourless..... But it was a nice place to recharge my batteries.
