点评:We were really looking forward to our stay at Dollar Lake, but unfortunately, our experience fell short in several ways.
The biggest issue was with the bathrooms. They were locked overnight (which is already inconvenient), and although they were supposed to reopen at 8:00 AM, no one showed up to unlock them until 9:20. By that time, there were quite a few people—my young son included—who really needed to use the facilities. When the staff member finally arrived, she seemed annoyed and told us it would be a while before anyone could use the bathroom because she had to clean it first. She refused to let my son use it before she started cleaning, and her attitude was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we couldn’t find any other washrooms in the park—there’s a serious lack of signage to direct people where to go.
The check-in process was also very slow, which set the tone for the rest of the stay. And throughout the campground, there were far too few garbage cans, which made it difficult to keep the area clean.
Overall, Dollar Lake has potential, but the poor management, lack of basic amenities, and unhelpful staff made our visit frustrating and uncomfortable.
