点评:As I've been in IT professionally and hobby-wise since the mid-90's, I just had to visit this museum. Nice to see my very first computer (an Acorn Electron) in working order in the museum and a *lot* of computers and game consoles are there to operate, including a very early (and of course, offline, laserdisc) version of Google Maps. It's pretty big and a wide range of computing technology is covered. From small home PC's like the Acorn Electron, right up until mini's like Digital and Sun.
I would however have loved to see more of a timeline and a guided tour of the museum would not have hurt.
BTW It is located on an industrial estate, which might some people hesitate going there. It's Cambridge. It feels very safe. The museum is on a walkable distance from the city center (~35 minutes) and close (10-15 minutes) from the Cambridge Museum of Technology. Just follow the river Cam and then head right just before you reach the museum of technology. Follow the signs, don't cross the railroad and you're there!
