点评:Came out today with my fiancée and a friend to kayak and fish, paid to get in and spend a few hours on the lake which was fun. They have floating docks that we brought our kayaks to and docked them here and decided to do some diving. One of the women at the stand to check in told us we couldn’t do flips, so we apologized and completely stopped. Then ANOTHER middle aged women came down and started screaming at us, “DID YOU PAY TO GET IN? YOU CANT HAVE YOUR KAYAKS THERE. YOU NEED TO PAY TO GET IN AND USE THIS. IT IS 10 DOLLARS A PERSON.” Like.. excuse me? People are actively walking over the hill to get in and avoid paying, and we were being patronized for utilizing the utilities on the lake… that we paid to use? So we got off, and continued to kayak around before decided to just leave because the entire encounter was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. All of this to also say- we were patronized for using utilities we paid for, and their website specifically says no minors under the age of 16 to be on the floating docks without a life vest AND accompaniment of an adult, and there were 3 children on the dock next to us, maybe 11-12, doing flips, unaccompanied by ANY adults on the water… just very interesting how the double standard worked here. You’d think if it was such a big deal, there would be signs specifically on the dock (similar to a public swimming pool) that state the rules of utilizing the docks, like no flips, rocking, etc. but instead our good day was turned not so great because someone else wasn’t having a good day at their job, and decided to enforce rules on us and then take it a step further and accuse of us not paying. We’ll gladly take our business elsewhere if this is the case- which is a shame since this is our local spot that’s close to home. It’s not worth being patronized infront of 50+ people, including those who snuck over the hill to get in. Take your business elsewhere.
