点评：No idea where the description "traditional Irish Pubs" come from for The Dingle.
Guess from tour groups who are herded into The Dingle Pub from the large hotel across the street. And the signs on everything and anything both inside and outside this place.
Bartenders are burnt out and surly. And because this is really a massive dining room for Americans wanting an "Authentic Irish Experience" staged environment, the pub bar is geared toward the beleaguered wait staff trying to get drinks for the fifty to a hundred tables crammed into a step down hall (no booths, or separations--the din is earsplitting), and will react to your requests with annoyance when you try to order over the two weary Irish musicians shoehorned between the bar to be viewed by the dining hall.
You will also pay extra to be rushed in and out of this dreary, "fake lively" place. Should always worry a traveler when the word "authentic" is in front of every single dish, and the prices for drinks and food are 20% over any other place you've been in.
TONS of real pubs in town. Go to Foxy Johns or one of the great, non-touristy pubs in Dingle. For absolutely authentic Irish music on certain nights when they feel like coming by to play, squeeze into J. Currans (not fancy, but real locals playing music and most of the patrons speaking Gaelic.
By the way, a pub means reasonably priced drinks dispensed in a friendly manner for people who plan to spend either a 30 minutes or 3 hours relaxing and enjoying the place, not rushed, and able to converse and enjoy music or said conversations. Or both. No Irish bartender will ever be rude, put a time limit on how long you sit, or where you sit, and you pay when you leave.
