Fantastic week (single parent holiday)
High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre的点评
点评：Just back from an absolutely exceptional week at High Adventures on their Single Parent Holiday week. A lot of sadness on leaving and children’s review is ‘best holiday ever’. Mine too!
Having a week solely focused on single parents allowed adult friendship & shared experience with (to me not thought of) immediate benefit that the children all felt like their family set up, whatever that might be, was the norm. I’m also not sure that I’ve ever felt so supported by strangers and such a strong community.
The week itself; accommodation was great, clean, comfy, hot showers and an excellent drying room. Food was plentiful, covered all of the basics and staff happy to accommodate where possible. Good coffee too!
The activities themselves were outstanding. Literally turned up each day with packed lunches, and the list of things we were told to bring for the day. The instructors & HA provided the rest. Some newfound passions were uncovered and I’ve already been set to find other places to go for several. Fears were faced, sensitive and gentle encouragement given and real sense of achievements all around.
The instructors themselves (& all of the staff) were fantastic. Knowledgable, able to manage group dynamics and different needs, incredibly capable and seemed to have a genuine pleasure and enjoyment with what they do.
Cannot recommend this company enough. Wasn’t sure what to expect beyond an adventure, and while it was definitely adventurous, it was also gentle, fun, beautiful, full of community, achievement and belonging. Thank you to everyone.

各项活动更是出色至极。我们每天只需带上盒装午餐以及要求携带的物品清单即可。其余的一切都由教练和工作人员来安排。我发现了一些新的兴趣爱好，并且已经计划着去更多地方探索了。我克服了内心的恐惧，也得到了细致而温暖的鼓励，整个过程让我切实体会到了成就感。
各位教练（以及所有工作人员）都棒极了。他们知识渊博，善于处理团队互动及满足不同需求，能力出众，而且看起来真的对自己的工作乐在其中。
我极力推荐这家公司。原本不确定这次经历会带来什么，除了充满冒险元素之外。虽然确实充满了冒险，但它同时也很温馨、有趣、美好，充满了社群氛围、成就感与归属感。感谢每一个人。
