点评：Off and on over the last couple of years, I have been researching and building my family tree. I was interested in learning about my Slovakian heritage and culture for which I was unfamiliar. This past year, through the recommendations of members of the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International, I reached out and made contact with Michal Razus. It was the right decision, as I have come to find out. As it turns out, Michal is a native Slovakian and not only provides assistance with geneological research but also guiding services in Slovakia. He was extroardinary in his assistance to me in both categories! Not only did he help me reach my goals with historical family research, but also located and assisted in my search for ancestral family in Slovakia.
My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Slovakia and our first meeting with our relatives. While there, with Michal by our side, not only did we meet family, but he assisted both myself and my newly found family with accessing additional geneological documents that none of us had. His professionalism, knowledge, and experience enabled him to access church and municipal documents that I believe we would not have obtained on our own. Not everyone can gain access to records on a holiday weekend. It was impressive to see him in action!
It was a great experience, which has only just begun. My plan is to continue working with Michal to expand on what we have found. My wife and I are also enjoying a growing relationship with our newly found ancestral family. As I said, we were fortunate to connect up with Michal and highly recommend him.
