Disappointed in the pace of play and the standard of some of the golfers allowed to play on the course.

点评：Played in April on a twilight green fee of around 70 euros for each player plus another 40 euro for a buggy. The normal green fee is up to 165 euros.
Although the course is in really good condition at this time of year and the course has some nice holes I find it very hard to endorse it at the rate of Euros 165.
The main reason is not down to the course but the standard of golfers playing it. It took our 2 ball four and a half hours with a buggy, which is not acceptable. The players in the 3 or 4 groups in front of us were of beginner standard and although 1 let us through the others did not.
It really spoils the day for me at least, standing around on tees waiting for someone to take their umpteenth shot. I think perhaps the club should insist on hcap certificates up to 28 hcap. This would speed things up and keep the game flowing. I know I sound like a boring old fart but it's a lot of money to play and the course is hard enough even if you are able to keep focused but standing around for near on 5 hours is just not enjoyable.
