点评:We like Cape May. We like the historic town. However it is metered parking and you pay to access the beach. The sand is odd as you really sink into it. I have been to Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sunset Beach, Etc... all this year and none where like this. It made it difficult to walk. They have a walk way but it doesn't go very far towards the water. It was otherwise pretty but sand not as white as in other local beaches. Saw lots of sailboats the day we where out. They also gave special treatment to surfers who took a great part of the ocean - as they where surfing on an angle (as the winds where making the waves go that way) and while it was fun to watch - If you wanted to go out in the water they wouldn't let you go far (lifeguards) so you wouldn't interfere with the surfers. They still had lifeguards out September 15th. You would have had to walk down far to find a place that no surfers where.
