Fair viewpoint and location of the Badjarrijarri Trailhead

点评：The Thomas Carter Lookout is located at the end of a 1km short drive and turnoff near the end of the Charles Knife Dr. This is supposed to be a 4wd road so you might prefer to park on the side of Charles Knife near the turnoff and just walk the 1km.
There is a carpark at the end of the turnoff road. The Lookout point is a short 2-3 minute walk from here. This is where you find the Badjarrijarri Trailhead. You can also enjoy views into the distance. There are the making of canyons in the distance and you can view the sea as well.
Potentially worth making time to visit this viewpoint but it is not as spectacular as the many lookouts you will find along Charles Knife Drive viewing directly into deep gorges. If time is limited, you can actually give this one a pass. If you are planning to hike the Badjarrijarri Trail, you can spend a couple minutes enjoying views and then proceed onward to the outstanding Shothole Canyon Lookout along the trail.
